this copy works fine guys. i finishd downloaing it last night, unrared with winrar. which xtracts everythign from every folder. then u gotta unrar it again because it is in .iso format. after that u just install nd thats it u have ur game. ive burnt it aswell nd it wrks perfect crack is included in folder called fairlight.

it downloaded and installed fine... the only prob is that the crack doesn't seem to be working for me.... once i click the icon, the task shows in the start bar as if the game is going to start, but after a few seconds it disappears and the game doesn't start..... anyone with the same prob?????

I can't even get it to work. I downloaded it as a bunch of files labeled flt-wic.001-087 along with the .nfo file and a flt-wic.sfv file in a folder. What do I do to burn it? There isn't any image file.

Works fine. Tried and tested.

Just open those files using WinRAR. Then mount the extracted .iso file into a virtual drive program like Daemon tools or Alcohol 120% then the autorun screen should open. Install the game and copy the cracked files from the fairlight folder.

Something must have not been downloaded, because I have no .iso file... Hmm...

This game works 100%, you don't have to burn it ( but you can to save space in you HDD )
The ISO file is there just right click "flt-wic.001" then press open with WinRar and then extract it, also the crack that is in there works, its in the Fairlight folder just copy the files and PLAY :). Its no fake so stop voting for Fake or Virus, This is verified, clean and high quality torrent :)

Sage_viper: the iso is inside the zipped files. You must open them (any one, doesn't matter) with an unzipping program (I suggest 7zip). Then extract the *.iso file - voila!

I downloaded the game, installed it, and it didn't work at the begining (it gave me a black screen on startup for seconds n it went back to desktop with no error given), then i added -nointro to the end in the desktop icon properties like i read in a forum. it was like this:

Right click on the desktop icon, select properties, and then click on the SHORTCUT tab. Note the space before the hyphen and no space after the hyphen.

example:

“c:/program files/sierra/world in conflict/wic.exe” -nointro

it worked fine then, pla **** the toturial, n when i quit the toturial to play the game it was getting me back to the desktop with no error given again like it did the first time. NOTE THAT THE DISCLAIMER WAS NOT THERE WHEN I WAS SETTINUP THE GAME.

this thing really works! its real.. juz rename those files with .rar or juz open them with winrar! crack included in folder called fairlight.. i juz could play it with minimum graphics(i think)... T.T only got P4 1.7GHz, 512SDRAM, NVIDIA FX5500 256MB.. at least the game doesnt lag.. =) great game!

What’s up with renaming the extensions. Renaming 87 files is a real pain.

Guide for “said nicely” those who aren’t the best at getting torrent games to work!!!
Once the games been downloaded. Let it seed.
In the downloaded folder… rename the fit-wic files that are numbered from
.010 to .087.
For example the first 5 files look like this:
fit-wic.01
fit-wic.02
fit-wic.03
fit-wic.04
fit-wic.05
you need to make them look like this
fit-wic.r1
fit-wic.r2
fit-wic.r3
fit-wic.r4
fit-wic.r5
this is done by right clicking the files and choosing rename.
Once done. Your going to need to extract them, don’t worry bout the NFO file or the sfv file.
If you don’t have win RAR. Get it http://www.win-rar.com/
Now that the file is open in Win Rar. Choose the ISO and click extract to desktop
Once done your going to need a V Cd program like damon tools or I used Power iso
If you don’t have one of these kind of programs. Get one. http://www.poweriso.com/
Load the iso. The v CD should auto run. Install the game’
Once the game has finished installing.
Click start. My computer. Right click the world in conflict vCD and choose Explore
Open the fairlitght folder copy the files
Unless you have installed into a custom directory
Then click on start and run, type…
C:\program files\Sierra Entertainment\World in Conflict
Press enter
And paste the files in here
Click yes to all
And start playing the game.

I cant copy the fairlight folder because it says the drive is read only... How do I stop the read-only? Also, will the fairlight cracks mean I stop getting the worng disk warning?

I don't know if it's a virus or not but I did what asidscript said and it didn't work. Winrar kept asking for file flt-wic.000. That file doesn't exist! Can someone help me?

Tips for usual problems with downloaded games :

First make sure you have at least minimum REQUIRED PC specs by searching the web!

Always do a "force re-check" with your client when a torrent is completed for a final repair!

it took me about a day or more to download this first...so people seed! other then that the crack and game works fine.

works perfect (the crack works too) just unrar everything (get winrar here: www.rarlabs.com) and right click any file called flt-wic.*** (*** is replaced by a number) now find open-with. and select winrar.

after that you need daemontools get it here:http://www.daemon-tools.cc/
mount the .iso file after installing dt and an auto run will popup asking you to install wic.

HOW TO PLAY GUIDE:
1.download program called "alzip" which unzips every kind of zip including winrar, winzip, and many more. After that, using alzip, make one iso file.
2. using Daemon (its free) mount the iso image and install the game.
3. using windows explorer or by right clicking on the virtual driver, go inside the virtual driver folder
4. in there Open the fairlitght folder copy the files and paste them into installed folder.

Trojan (ad-aware/lavasoft)

For all those who still think they have to rename the .01-.87 files; duh!
There's an .sfv file in the folder, if you open it in notepad you see that it is used to guide winrar to extract correctly from a split archive.
Just open one of them, I'd prefer the first, in winrar and it shows as contents the single .iso-file.

Admittedly it's a tad bit confusing since usually when you encounter an archive that has been split it consists of a .rar and .00-.XX, or .r01-rXX.

And to everyone reporting those trojans etc, they are known as "false positives". Keygens resemble some viruses, and thus drive the scanners nuts.
