aXXo probably used standard USPS.

i will not download it because i am sure, that the quality will be low. even thou that it is a dvd rip from FXG. the movie has more than 2 hours, but the size is only 700MB! i honestly do not understand the 700MB rule nowadays. nobody is using CDs anymore. a btw, many of us have faster internet connection, so there is no problem to download larger files. and see the resolution: 664 x 268! only 268? where are we? in the age of 15'' CRT displays? nowadays many of us have large LCD panels (i have "only" 19''). and even i am able to see the low quality of such rips. and what about the audio? only 112 kbps constant? where are we? before the ages of napster? people have now larger hard disks, so they also store music in higher quality (a personally think that in a poll 160 kbps would win, or would it be 192 ?). so are movies an exception?

see Klaxxon for example. he (or she?) is the one that understood, that different movie has to have different size. its like with an mp3 - constant bitrate has lower quality that the variable.

i think that the age and technology (internet connection, monitors, HDDs) have evolved. so why not to evolve the quality of the dvd rips?

I ask because I have had this going since it was initially seeded like 10 hours ago and the (sorry I said three, but it's five) five seeds have all logged out. You got the wrong one.. This is the real deal, clean and verified with the green check. I would stay away from any FXG that is not verified. They are all rubbish.

Yes!! Its finally here... I had been checking every two hours to see if Iron Man is available by either Axxo or FXG... Its finally here by FXG!!! And guys, it has to be real, because of the verified green tick mark. There was another file with the same name that was released just hours before this original FXG torrent. That was without the tick mark and that was a fake one. Logiman12 must had downloaded that one, hence it asked for a password to him...

This one sure is safe and another EXCELLENT FXG QUALITY!!! Cant wait for it to finish download. I am on 57%... Hope we have at least one seeder who has full 100% of the movie... GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!

Usually FXG comes out before AXXO and the sound is off from the video. I just wait for AXXO because I've been **** ed twice by FXG

baconbits... The sound may be off if the audio bit rate is very high... Most of the basic free video players do not have those high codecs. You can download and use VLC player. It is the only free software that I have come across that has the maximum number of codecs. Even DivX player could not play high bit rate audio files...

8sean8!!!! You downloaded the wrong torrent. That is not the original FXG torrent. AVI file is not suppose to ask for a password. This same problem occured with another person earlier. Delete that file. Make sure, whenever you download from FXG, it should have a green tick mark that verifies the source...

only con is that there's hardcoded german subtitles at some parts....it's kind of annoying especially if ur planning to burn it to a blank dvd and if ur in the US. for me, it's not good enough to burn, but it's definitely good enough to watch. i'm gonna wait till axxo comes out with an ntsc release or sumthin. that way it will have english subs.

Another message for Heady: I do agree with you that 664 x 268 is not an ideal resolution, but honestly its not too bad...

With regards to the audio bit rate, 112kbps constant is perfect for movies, its doubtful anyone would notice any difference in quality if it were higher anyway.
You see, with music there is a wide range of frequencies being used all at the same time, needing more space to store it all.
In movies there's generally only voices which use a very limited range of frequencies, not needing so much space for quality...

As for "the 700MB rule" the DivX codec can reduce a movie down to under a gigabyte while retaining near DVD quality. The reason people choose a 700MB file size is that it can be put on a CD if need be... You never know when the shop might not have any DVDs in stock ;)

All you people complaining about the 700Mb rule, this is because many downloaders watch it on a stand-alone divx player, and not on their monitors. Thats why it is made to fit on a CD, hence the 700Mb rule

Great rip only thing is that when the titles for the places come up (i.e. Malibu, California) they are in german. no subtitles and audio is in english and I'll keep seeding until an Axxo release. Great quality.

It's great quality, but this copy is edited. It's 5 minutes shorter than the theatrical release.

The image quality isnt actually that great and the text displa **** for locations is in German.
Why do i say the quality isnt that great? => at some points the compression is really visible. Less compression and image would be really great.

For my case I would say AXXO is more in my favor as When get his movies and burn straight to disk, lately they all play full screen which is great as I do not have a wide screen and FXG movies are all wide screen unless someone can tell me how to Change to full screen.

CAMARO68...use the latest VSO ConvertxtoDvD...and resize the video ratio from automatic to stretch... That should about do it..

I use this technique and works fine with any dVdrips I downloaded.
