ATTENTION XP USERS:

IF YOU'RE HAVING THE PROBLEM OF BEING UNABLE TO PLAY THE GAME, FOLLOW THESE SHORT STEPS:

1. Enter Program files
2. Find the folder "Activision"
3. Go into your World at War folder
4. Delete all of the .exe files in that folder
5. place your downloaded crack in the folder
6. Start the game as usual.

You dont have to create any new folders with your profile name or any dumb $hit like that. Follow those steps, and you'll be playing in no time.

When i start the game i get the message that program cannot start because d3dx9_37.dll is missing.
Someone please help me :(

Virus is a false positive. Don't worry about it.

Game won't run though, it's missing the image "gamefonts_pc" any clue how to fix that?

Edit: ^^Fixed that problem.^^ Search google for "gamefonts_pc.iwi. Download from filefront or wherever you find it. Open iw_03.iwd with winrar. Insert gamefonts_pc.iwi and you're done.

New problem: black screen filling up 1024x768 not responding.

p.s. DD1192g, the reason that file is missing is because you don't have directx installed properly. Search google for the newest verison and install it. Then your game should work.

Can someone give me a CD key?
Or tell me where i can finde it.

frogger I have exactly the same problem, I inserted the gamefont file but now I have the same black screen, kind of windowed with a non-responding exe. Did you manage to fix this problem?

I have the same problem with Jimmycripps and as froggerman330 said about the new problem... So what do we do to fix this problem ? We have to waited so long (about 1hour) to install this game ... I hate to reinstall it !!!!

hi guys i didnt download the game but bought a CD outside..i installed it..then went to solo option then clicked new game and selected recruit option but after tat the game does not come and its still in the new game page itself..can anybody help me out with this problem..??has anyone seen such a thing so far..i bought a new graphics card recently..XFX nvdia geforce 9500GT 1 gb..is this sufficeint for this game..pls help me out soon..

For anyone who is having the black screen problem. this is only for the people who do not have all the files extracted because i had a problem where it only extract iw_00.iwd to iw_13.iwd where it should have extracted to iw_00.iwd to iw_20.iwd. Ok first run the installer let it run through until it extracts all the iwd files but some should be still folders so wait until iw_14 to iw_20 have been extracted to folders same deal with localized_english_iw00 and localized_english_iw01. stop unpack.bat and Copy them 9 files to the desktop. OK now delete the folder where u extracted from (keeping those 9 files). Now use winrar or winzip or any other compression programs and make a zip file. now go into any of those 9 folders and grab the folder thats inside and put it into a zip file, once its done inputting that folder in. rename the whole folder to e.g iw_14.iwd without the .zip part so continue to input all them folders in to separate zip files and rename them to what the folder was called so for example open the iw_14 folder copy the folder thats inside, put it into a zip file, rename it to whatever the folder name was but with .iwd on the end, so in this case it would be iw_14.iwd now do it with them 9 files, its the same thing for localized_english_iw00 just put into a zip then rename to localized_english_iw00.iwd now once thats done. run the installer. let it go through until it says run game exe. now put all of those files that u have created into the main folder. that should fix the problem.
