i installed the game .. but it starts slow very slow.. what can i do?

i`ve got a AMD athlon 64 3000+ (1800MHZ) a Nvidia GF FX 6600 128 mb 128 bits and 1 gb RAM...

:( before the mission and at the begining starts slow..

try to set the resolution to 800*600 or below, and the graphics on low, then you'll be able to play, the other thing do not activate the antialiasing mode, it'll greatly decrease the gameplay framerates

if u want good and constant speed then register ur self for the private trackers.the signups there will be free,but u have to mentain the ratio of uploading/downloading.iam downloading the game from "thetorrentsource.org", it is a private tracker and currently open for signups.iam getting constant speed b/w 50kbps to 60 kbps.so get rid of public trackers and switch to private trackers.another website is for pvt tracking is "ilovetorrents.com"

Went to gamecopyworld.com and got a new one. Now the game is working.

So the game installed fine and everything, but I can't actually play it. When I click on New Game, the difficulty select pops up then disappears when I actually select a difficulty, without actually loading the game, allowing me to click on New Game again, for it to start all over again... Any ideas how I can get around this?

"BlackComma" in your Bittorrent, right click on the torrent, click on properties, a window with two tabs will appear GENERAL and ADVANCED, stick to the first one which is GENERAL, copy the trackers i mentioned above and paste them in GENERAL and then click OK button below.
I recommend everyone to use Bitcomet, i tried most of the torrents client, and i found that BITCOMET is the fastest and then comes VUSE and then uTorrent or Bittorrent ( they are the same ).

I installed the game and everything, but it won't let me create an online account. Also I can't even play a solo game. It says i need to insert the disk. But i did everything by extracting it and mounting it using daemon tools and then installed it. I used a key code off here to install it. Do i need to do something with the crack or what? akaiser30: To crack your install, copy the .exe file from the 'crack' folder and paste it into your COD:WaW directory, it should replace the original .exe and the game wont ask for the disk anymore.

to set the solo game difficulty you have to create a account..i've created it by the Multiplayer > quit and entered the Solo - Co-op and start a new game without a problem

Actually it's really a good game, about 25% graphically improved that CoD4, but unfortunately it doesn't contain a lot of missions, i had it all done in a single day, right now i'm with FarCry2, Dead Space, 007 QoS, and Fallout3.

* Here's the method to get the game working :

Before you install, make sure you have DirectX 9.0C installed, you can get the latest version at http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/OS-Enhancements/DirectX-9.0c-Redistributable.shtml , and also the latest driver for your Video Card.

- Unpack the archive by right clicking on any of those RAR files and choose EXTRACT FILES (you must have WinRAR or 7-zip installed first) , then choose where to extract, when the extraction completes, you'll see an .ISO image, after that mount it using any virtual drive tool such as : DAEMON TOOLS, UltraISO, ALCOHOL 120%; .... whatever, Install the game normally, after the installation, it'll ask you if you want to install BunkBuster, CHOOSE NO, again i say it, CHOOSE NO for it's just a multi-player tool to ban cheaters, i'll tell you later why to skip BunkBuster, alright now since you have the game already installed, go to you DVD virtual drive and copy the CRACK from crack directory and paste it inside your game folder

Took me awhile to figure it out but finally got it working when i compared profile folders to cod4
Lets say you have a profile Torrentz
So in your players/profiles directory you need to have your Torrentz folder. If you have a real profile with data use that but for me just starting cod5 i just had a blank folder
players/profiles/Torrentz

But just having the folder isnt enough you need to tell cod5 what the active profile is with active.txt

so if its not there create it @ players/profiles/active.txt
In it you need just a single line with the name of your profile IE:
Torrentz

This worked for me
This may have been obvious for some but noone ever mentioned it so there it is.

But some installations need it in the Root game directory usually

The "Unhandled exception caught" problem fix (Vista 64):

1- Go to Control Panel

2- The click on "Hardware and Sound"
3- Click on "Sound"
4- Doble click on "speakers"
5- go to the Advanced tab
6- Set the default format to "24 Bit, 48000 Hz (Studio Quality)"
7- Thats it!

now i would like to know that after doing all steps well it still not working...
When i double click on the desktop Shortcut Icon of the game it shows a display setup
after clicking on continue It is shows an eror - Direct3D is failed to initialize -
Now I am really feeling very bad that after downloading such a big size game it isnt working.
I did all possible changes in display setup option too...

I would like to inform you that my system is- Intel Dual core, WinXP 32bit, 1 GB Ram, 128 MB Mobile Intel(R)945GM express chipset Family display card, 100 gb HDD, DirectX 9 or more.

But 1 Problem, when I want to play new game, or first mission it just does nothing, just asks me how hard I would like to play I chose recruit or any other, but then does nothing, any help on how to start playing the missions?

I downloaded this torrent Call.Of.Duty.World.At.War-RELOADED but i dont know how to start it... could some1 help me?? i open the folder and i just see 2 files... 2 little files... one file is named "reloaded" and its size is 5 KB and is is MSInfo do **** ent and the other file is named rld-cod5 and its size is 7.297.792 KB and it is an image folder... it says i downloaded 6.95 GB but there are only these 2 folders... so i dnno how to start it so plz help me im only 13 years old

I'm running Vista 64bit and I couldn't get the game running. I went to gamecopyworld.com and got myself a new fix. Now the fix I got is a .7z extension. I tried to convert it to .rar to open it and it's telling me it's not working. What can I do to open it or where can I find another copy to fix the 64 bit issue?

ONLINE PROFILE PROBLEM

I have the game working fine and have completed all the single player missions, when trying multiplayer i am asked to create an online profile, if i try, it simply waits a second then asks me to create one again, this cycle goes on endlessly and no profiles get made.
I HAVE tried making a folder of my name and the active.txt in my profiles folder.
I HAVE updated punkbuster
I HAVE installed patch 1.2, although it still says 1.0.1054 in the corner of my main menu

P8400 is a Socket P C2D-CPU, in other words, a laptop CPU. It's vastly inferior to the E8400 (8x266MHz vs 9x333, slower FSB, half the L2 cache, etc). Perhaps you should get your facts straight, Pejamus, before you start berating others.

okay so i think everything installed right and i go to click on the codwaw in the crack folder and it says binkw32.dll file not found or whatever so i did some googling and found a binkw32.dll download i downloaded it and moved it into my codwaw file and it said _binksetsoundtrack8 not found and idk how to fix this

and i gave up then a a couple days after i found the activision folder and went clicked on the codwawmp file and it loaded the game but it said i had to create an onlinne profile i tried creating it but everytime i clicked create after typing in the name it would go back to saying i had to create an online file so i just said **** it ill just not create one so i go in and click solo/????(idr what the other option is) and then it just takes me to the desktop and says dvdrom not found

i got the game and everything works great! i just can't enter cheats in the solo game. when i press the tilde key~, nothing happens. if i press the tilde key in the multiplayer game it brings up the cheat menu thing. anyone know why?

I can't get this to work. I have the files extracted and everything, but there is no .iso file to mount on Daemon tools. There is a winrar file that is called rld-cod5.iso, but obviously it is not an .iso file. Shouldn't there be an .iso in the files? I can't find one.
