Not as much people get on as they used to because the game is kind of old and you might be turned off when you see the graphics but the game effects are superb and as far as strategy game goes, it just doesn't get any better than this. we really need more players online and everyone usually gets on at night around 8 pm - 12 midnight.
my game name is Dark Knight and i really look foward to seeing you online. It takes alot of time to figure this game out so if your not one of those type of gamers dont even bother but if you are, it is definitly worth the try.

Apparently this only happens on some x64 Windows versions (XP or Vista).
My remedy:
- Copy all the contents from the DVD to your hard drive (you may not need to do this, but I had to do this in order to get it working)
- Run a S **** (or Command Prompt): Start -> Execute -> "cmd"
- Navigate to your CoH:ToV folder (DVD/HDD):
X: [letter may vary]
gameInst X:Data
- Now the installer should pop up without the annoying errors
Relic should really have checked this...
The important command should be:
gameInst.exe X:[backslash]Data
1. CONTROL PANEL
2. WINDOWS FIREWALL
3.THEN CLICK EXCEPTIONS
4. FIND RELIC DOWNLOADER and RELICOH.EXE
5. UNCHECK IT AND PRESS "OK"
6. THEN FIND THE COH TALES OF VALOR ICON AND PLAY...........
7 IF YOU WANT A CHEAT THAT IT CAN REVEAL ALL THE ENEMIES ALL , REVEAL MAP......
8. GO TO THE ICON AND RIGHT CLICK THEN PROPERTIES AND in the TARGET name Put -dev to last
ex: "c:MY GAMES 2New FolderRelicCOH.exe" -dev
9. then play!!!
if you start the skirmish game PRESS CRTL+SHIFT+` or the console button then type
FOW_ReveallAll
copy the code exactly Espescially capital letter FOW_R and A
