I can't open the RAR archives. It has a password. Anyone know what the password is?

problem was caused by just another program I installed the same time

I JUST FINISHED DOWNLOADING AND INSTALLING THIS TORRENT. I CAN CONFIRM THAT IT IS THE FINAL RELEASE OF VISUAL STUDIO 2008 PROFESSIONAL. THERE'S NO PASSWORD ON THE RAR FILES. IT'S A DVD ISO IMAGE. JUST BURN IT TO A DISK OR EXTRACT TO YOUR HARDDRIVE. THE INSTALLER HAS THE SERIAL NUMBER INTEGRATED (PROBABLY BY THE RELEASE GROUP). WORKS 100%. THE ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT IT DOWNLOADS REALLY SLOW :-)

Just finished installed it. No password for the .rar, serial "integrated" in the installer like djnitehhawk said, so don't look for it! Works perfectly.

rar file extracts iso file with some errors. iso file could be mounted but the setup cannot be completed. i advise not to download this one, well i did :((

this works excellent!! follow this-

1. just burn or mount this iso file
2. through autorun or going to the dvd drive, run the setup & use the default serial (its pre-applied)
3. after installation, go to dvd drivemsdnsetup.exe & install msdn

for those who dont know, this msdn installation is for offline help. in fact in this 3.3 GB file, 2 GB is for msdn & only the rest 1.3 GB is for visual studio software

There actually is a problem with the ISO, during installation one of the files involving AMD 64. My guess is that the problem is limited to people who use 64bit AMD chips since there are so many positive comments. Installation gets to about 80% of the core vs install, then hits a bad file and fails. Your mileage may vary.

I fail to see the point of this torrent when you can download the trial version directly from Microsoft..

1. use WinRar to extract to a iso file
2. use to DAEMONS TOOL to mount the iso image into vitual dirve

How to install..

1 - Select all files excluding zmvspro8.sfv, zwtiso.nfo
2 - Right click and extract files. (You should have win-rar installed)
3 - This will create a directory named as "zmvspro8".
4 - In this dir you will find zmvspro8.iso file.
5 - Burn it to a dvd or mount the zmvspro8.iso to virtual drive. Have Fun.

I go to click on each one of these and its the same link. I thought each link was a separate DL?

Upon installing Visual Studio 2008 Pro from this torrent, I discovered that my Microsoft Outlook 2003, and other office applications were deleted from my pc. It appears that I still have the .pst files so hopefully my email will be ok upon reinstalling Office. Has anyone experienced this? I scanned the .iso with NOD32 before attempting the install and it did not find any infected files. There may be a virus as NiceDog mentioned.
