There are legal matters with such a job. As it is now torrentz is a search engine, and hence is torrentz.com is pretty safe (from harassment from the police).

If torrentz.com would hire someone to check uploads and verify them, there would be some legal issues with it. Then torrentz.com would no longer simply be a search engine but evolve into... something else. A provider of sorts.

Then the movie industry etc might demand more accountability than what they can demand today.
