1) Extract the game using WinRAR
2) Mount the .ISO file using your software of choice (Alcohol or Daemon Tools)
3) Install the game (During installation it asks you if you wish to install via STEAM, I chose not to
4) Extract the crack and patch from the 'CRACK' folder
5) Run the patch from the 'CRACK' folder (FM2009_v9.1.0_Patch.exe)
6) Run (AS administrator) the crack from the 'CRACK' folder (fm91_t1.exe) NOTE : If it says; File not found, or access error you need to click the three dots ". . ." and point it to your fm.exe, in your FM2009 folder
7) Run fm.exe + enjoy the game!

yes it matters...in the installation DO NOT do it via Steam or you'll just have to do everything all over again, cuz u'll need the activation key right away and the game won't be installed... awsome torrent... =D

I was having the same problem. You are probably running Vista (like me). Right-mouseclick the Crack --> run as administrator.

does anyone know whether this cracks automatically sacks you after 1 season because i have been sacked twice now, in 2 seasons finishin 3rd with chelsea and 2nd with leeds utd! how can you get sacked on that record! i have read somewhere that this is common with this crack and that we should wait for a better one also this crack doesnt work for going on holiday all though the gameplay is great! cheers

Did you extract the complete folder you downloaded? Try extracting as a complete folder, dont go into the folder to extract.

its on the crack there is no perfect crack its an anti pirate security from SI. you will automatically get sacked at the end of season and you cant go on holiday, other than that the game works well! but for now youl have to wait for a better crack or just buy the game!!

yes, i opened winrar, highlighted the file football managr and clicked extract to, wnt for about 10 minutes, nothing looked different, i go to mount the iso file, i cant see it or anything

i extracted one of the files, installed it not with steam, the other one, and now im up 2 the crack and when open the one with fm91_t1 and i click the 3 dots and in my fm folder there is no file there

im not really to literate when it comes to things like this ... can anyone rephrase this instruction given by owen2k8? ... once ive extracted the files the single ISO file comes up.. then i click on it and my CD copying software comes up (roxio) why is this? do i have to put it on disk?

drag it from the ISO file and extract the winrar file for the normal installation...so easy no need to use any softares for mounting...happy playing.

hey i really need help.... i cant extrac files fm2009-tl.r30 to fm2009-tl.r44 with winrar wat program to use?... becuase the game runs good untill a match is going to play and it sticks so im not sure if its because of those files...if its because of those files please wat program to use? if not wat is the solution for the game sticking?

My anti-virus program warns me against the crack folder. It says it is infected with a hacking program...

This torrent is fake! It has the game but owen's crack instructions are incorrect. There are not rar files for the instructions he outlines in step 4.

I found these instructions, quite different to Owen's in a notepad file:

1) (Install WinRAR: rarlab.com/download.htm). Double-click fm2009-tl.rar. Extract fm2009-tl.iso wherever you wish to.
2) (Install Daemon Tools: disc-tools.com/download/daemon). Run Daemon Tools, right-click the newly appeared icon in your system tray --> Virtual CD/DVD-ROM --> Device 0: [1:] Empty --> Mount Image --> select the .iso file you just extracted --> Open
3) Proceed with the install making sure to choose the 'activate by phone' option. If/when you get a pop-up window asking for a serial, ignore it and just close it.
4) Go to the 'CRACK' folder on your download. Double-click fm2009 crack & patch folder, double click on FM2009_v9.1.0_Patch.exe --> Update.
5) Back to 'CRACK' folder. Double-click fm2009-crack & patch folder again. copy over the certificate to Do **** ents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataSports Interactive
all users in the all users section. your user in your user section
in vista all users goes in c:/ programe data/sportsinteractive
and your user in c:/users/your name/appdata/roaming/sports interactive
also if you have vista make sure in control panel that you have show hidden folders ticked. Start button/control panel/appearance and personalization/show hidden files and folders/view/show hidden files and folders
3) copy over the exe to the install directory
4) click on fm.mce activate with the key 8sfa70iy7naat8miiwwvh5v0e
If it says it's unsuccesful try the cracked fm.exe, start up football manager and check if you can go on holiday.
5) Block fm.exe with your firewall, so it can't connect to the internet (do this after you activated)

Listen to me People. Follow Owen2k8's instructions and u'll be able to play the game.After u extract the Crack and patch, u need to run the patch file - FM2009_v9.1.0_Patch.exe and update it. Dont click on the crack file yet (fm91_t1.exe) cuz it wont be of any use. Copy the crack file and paste it in ur Football Manager 09 (Sports interactive) folder. And then Click on the Crack folder and Click on "start". It will say "File patched". And u can click on the "fm" file and Play the game :D. But if u dont copy the crack folder, it will ask u activation code. Thanks Owen2k8, Cheers!

hey megamarkquis, iv followed the instrutions and get to the stage where it says file patched and when i go to load the game, i get an error message saying: 'cannot run game. failed to setup graphics system.'

also i had a similar problem with call of duty world at war and got an error message saying: the game menu loads up but now im getting an error message:
