btw : In The NFO file there should be a step called
:"copy over the crack to the "gamedir%"

i think he has forgot that :P
(the crack is in the ISO in a map called "crack"

noone is seeding this :(

I have Vista on my pc and after I install game and copy the crack it gves me an error about the Virtual c++ or something like that and quits. What can I do?

i'm running this on Windows7
and my game stops every 10 minutes or so and than resumes :S

it's annoying with the Spider Queen :(

Im having the same issue as madeluke45.. only im running XP 32bit
I tried installing the latest c++ 2008,
But it keeps giving me assertion failure whenever i try to boot the game..

For those getting a .dll error and/or C++ error just download the latest PhysX pachage that is needed, from here:

http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx_9.09.0428_whql.html

It worked like a charm for me, got the game started with no errors whatsoever.

ok let me start by saying this is the first time i've downloaded a game like this...

I have downloaded it, extracted it, mounted the image, installed it, try to load the application in the "crack" folder, but its giving me the error that NxCooking.dll was not found, and I have downloaded this:

I've also reinstalled the game, but now i don't know what to do, so if anyone can please offer some help, that would be very appreciated at this point.

I updated PhysX, still same error, does it require a reinstall of overlord to work?

ok i just didnt move the app from the crack folder into the overlord folder in program files after the install. so yea now everything works great.

After getting nowhere with the C++ error;

and physx is out of the question since my video card is ATI Radeon HD4870, I found a comment on forums stating that installing the demo version then reinstall this retail version solves the problem. Well so far I downloaded the demo (google "overlord 2 demo"), ran it and no C++ error pop up. Reinstalled this full version, and voila! Works like a charm now. Hope it solves all the C++ errors

I finished downloading it, mounted the image, installed it. Now when i click on my dekstop icon it says i have the wrong disc in. I'm not very good with utorrent could anyone help me :p?

i have the language maps resources screens and video folders. I don't see any crack foler :/

Gets to 97% and then it stops dl, was doing 500 kb/s

@jinglebust - the crack folder is on the disk.

for people having trouble such as i did(running vista sp2 ultimate 64-bit)

this is only for people running windows xp and above(but i think the problem comes in vista or maybe windows 7 only)

1.first download visual c++ 2005 redistributable

2. Then download the Nvidia PhysX drivers(yes even if you have an ATI card). This is because Nvidia bought out AGEIA PhysX(this is needed for some previous games) and this isn't really an Nvidia driver it is just an update for AGEIA PhysX(now called PhysX by Nvidia).

3. It should work now, but if it doesn't reinstall Overlord II and put the crack in correctly and then try again.

4. Still fails? Maybe try a different crack.

PERFECT. No problems. Unrared fine. Installed fine. Plays fine. No viruses. No complaints.

i managed to find it! i had to unrar the .iso file lol weird. and i pla **** it but uninstalled it i didnt like it ­>:O
