How do you make a DVD for this? Just burn the files on a DVD? Or do I need Nero or something? Can someone tell me the process?

This is perfect. Full retail, You can ONLY install this using a DVD R DL. Using the iPod method for this won't work as its not made for that, its made for DVD DL. There are posts everywhere on the net linking to this and saying this is it. I'm almost done I'll post a confirmation once installed.

Oh, and this doesn't work on Hackintoshes yet.

There's only one version and the requirements say it runs on any mac mac computer with an Intel, PowerPC G5, or PowerPC G4 (867MHz or faster) processor.

some basic guidelines on install for those without a dvd drive:
1. get unrarx - mac version of rar to compile the files into a dmg file
2. download the free version of super duper
3. select the dmg image and put onto a external usb (either use a blank usb or partition some space)
4. be sure to check options in super duper to make the usb drive a bootable drive.... its part of the section that says 'when copy completes'
5. go to preferences>startup disk and choose the usb drive to restart the computer
6. enjoy mac os x 10.5

argh, i finished installing it like hours ago (btw, i'm using MacBook), i was using it for like two hrs, then decided to restart for sum software updates, and now every time i try to start it up, the setup assistant appears. the problem is, i fill it all, the registration, the snapshot of me, then click Done, and it appears again! and again and again! i cant get rid of it, and i cant therefore get on my Mac :( i even tried quitting (by Apple-Q) the setup assistant, it went away, but it just starts up again :( can sumone hlp me? i really need to work on it.. please, is sumbody knos, pls, help...

Ok, so installing stuff is hard.
How we did this was created an 8GB partition on an external drive
mirrored the install dvd to the partition (you can use disk utilities or ccc)
then boot from that partition.
Alternatively, you should be able to burn the dmg with toast.
Alternatively 2, you can convert the dmg to iso using:
(mac) hdiutil convert /path/to/filename.dmg -format UDTO -o /path/to/savefile.iso

Hey, if me and my buddies bought the single license could we all use it? I've tried googling that question, but I haven't gotten a confident confirmation.
I've been downloading this file for 4 days on a solid internet connection, and it's just a waste at this point (10% complete in 4 days).

-This site will show u how to put an "Installable" form of leopard on ur ipod
Double click the .dmg in ur ipod
when u get the installation up and running try to install as "Archive and Install" you'll have to press a customize button to do it. (mac genius told me that people have less problems when they archive)
U should be good to go

-restart ur computer, and when in the white hold "option" key
-u should get a picture of your Hard Drive and the external drive that u have leopard on (may appear as a disc)
-click the disk and go from there

Easiest way 2 do dis.
1. unrar file (takes a couple of mins.)
2. open .dmg file
3. restore OPENED disc FILE (not the unrared one) to either another harddrive internal or external or a dl disc. do this in disc utilities. If you dont know how, use apples wonderful help menu or research on net.
4.Either reboot with startup disc (system preferences) select 10.5 or double click icon in new bootable disc and follow instructions or boot holding down c key. After dat it's like any other install.
Mine went without any problems whatsoever runiing power pc g5 1.8 dual with 4gb ram and extra internal harddrive. Software has reacted well so far (2 days) and no major glitches to report. This is real.

2 questions.
First: since this is a copied version, will leopard be able to update itself from apple?
Second: i've heard something about this method erasing all the data stored on your computer. true or false?

ok question. so im dloading this and a dmg version of it from another site. the other site says something about burning the dmg onto a dl (double layer) dvd in order for it to work. i know how to use disk utility to do this, but after i burn the dvd, wat do i do with it? just open it up and install??? they also mentioned something about "erase and install" which i dont understand. im guessing it has something to do with partitioning. but doesnt all my stuff get deleted if i partition my disk now? im really confused. does anyone know wat theyre talking about??? thanks!!!! no, sorry, its only for macs. btw u can search that on google and get ur answer. apparently there are some fake hacked versions for PCs but apple doesnt make them. real leopards, the ones apple makes (including this torrent), are only for macs.

if u have a dvd drive capable of burning onto a dl dvd then u can burn it. if u dont then u cant. btw this is only for macs (xinxinwon i dont know wat u have...). anyways, if u have a mac dl dvd write compatible, then just pop the cd in, go to disk utility (apps > utilities > disk utility) then put the dmg file into the left panel. click on it once its in the panel (DO NOT click on the actual dmg file). then on the top u should see something like erase-restore. click restore. then drag the dmg from the left panel into source, and drag the empty dvd (not sure wat the icon or name will be) into destination. then at the bottom, click erase destination and skip checksum. then click restore and i think ur good to go. oh one thing, i dont know if u should let it be verified (in the process of it being restored it says "verifying" and u have the option to skip it. thats all i know. unfortunatley i dont have a dvd burner...and for some reason i cant partition my mac...and i cant get my ipod to do the job. so im stuck with my old system *sigh* ...would anyone else like to help? ive said all that ive learned

@ jokevcv: ok so if u download MagicIso (search for the torrent WITH the serial number and dload it) u can use that to restore your dmg to make an actual dvd. remember ur computer/laptop has to be able to burn to a dvd dl. go out and buy one. so burn it onto that. then once its done, it'll be the install dvd and just continue from there. i dont think its gonna work as a data file. i did this method (MagicIso method) on a friend's pc, xcept i was dloading vista, and it worked fine. i hope i dont sound too confusing.

I downloaded this torrent, burned the ISO to a dual layer disk using CDburnerXP Pro ( http://www.torrentz.com/df4cf059989f2775a9993217fb40baf7817f87ae ) on my PC. I then put it in my macbook that has 1gb ram and a 2ghz intel core duo.

It took approx. 27 minutes to write it to the DVD disk, then about 1.5 - 2 hours to install over the top of my existing OSX Tiger.

I then ran the software update utility and it found all the available updates from the apple website without any problems, after installation everything is running as expected and seems to be stable.

I will be formatting the macbook drive and performing a clean install so i'll update this when thats done.

I will also be updating my Mac Mini with this, that has 512 ram and a 1.2ghz G4, slower but it will handle Leopard according to the info on the installer disk. I will be upgrading the ram on this but the install will go on before the memory upgrade, i'll let you all know how it goes.

All that remains to say is a massive thank you to uploader of this torrent, it works great.

I have left this seeding on my pc and it will stay seeding until atleast x2.5.

To all the other posters who say this is a fake or the torrent isnt working, you are doing something wrong or your target system isnt up to the job.

Like I said, download, burn, install and update, what could be easier.

Please dont download this torrent .. Its totally fake . Becase after burining it to the DVD DL, it just shows only the boot camp .. not the Leopard !!

works fine for me. i've had it since it was new. not a single problem.

For those getting blue or black screens (which i got!) after installation do this :->
1>Start ur PC.
2>Press F8 while at boot!
3>Therby type -s
4>Then type mount -uw /
5>Then u will go to root & type /movevideodrivers
6>Then a list of drivers will come one by one, install or say yes to which h/w u have (intel,Nvidia, etc.)

I already have installed on, Win XP Pro 64bi Edition but its not a problem... I can add a new pair of drives in RAID 0 for MAC OSX installation...

I have alredy installed an other Mac OSX on another PC (i845 and works good but is has not the proper VGA drivers)... All the rest works fine!!! I tried to install the same Version on the GA-965P but it does not starts at all... Its booting from DVD but it does not going on...

To all that asks, No you can't install mac on PC (normally), mac hardware is chiped, there is a way you can do it but stop asking here, go google it.

On a PC:
Unrar with WinRAR (http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm) and burn osx-leopard105.dmg to a DVD+R DL (dual layer, 8.5 GB) with UltraISO (http://www.ezbsystems.com/ultraiso/). This is done in UltraISO by going to File-->Open-->osx-leopard105.dmg. Next click on the Burning CD icon, then click "Burn," and the program will burn the image to a DVD.
