hey guys..i m kinda new to this stuff..but i downloaded command and conquer generals plus zero hour..and i use daemon tools..i installed it and everything but it keeps telling me to insert cd into rom wen i try and play it..i know i am doing something wrong so if some1 reads this and wants to help me please do so :)

Yes, it's an image. You can burn that with Nero or mount it with programs like Daemon Tools, PowerISO, Alcohol 120%, etcetera.

dont download it its a waste of time.. some kid zipped his folder from program files and put it on the internetz :)

I can't install it, when I click install nothing happens and my computer slows down!

Same with me XBurnsie, my computer just slows down and nothing happens whenever I click on the Install button.

just extract the iso files.. and double click on the large file (1.98GB) and wait for it to install.. it doesnt even need a cd or daemons tools.. it worked on my vista 32, XP SP2 and my friends Vista home... THANKS FOR THE UPLOAD

Sorry about last comment, game does work. I extracted the .iso and ran the largest file (1.8GB), waited for about 10 minutes for it to start and installed easily. But for some reason when I click on the Zero Hour.exe the screen flashes and nothing happens. Good torrent but help would be appreciated.

No wonder it took so long. 1.98gb and it takes more time to be extracted from the ISO. I recommend people to mount it, copy it out and then run the setup. That saves more time.

The crack it included has some problems. Go to www.gameburnworld.com to download them.
Download the version 1.7 for Generals.
Download the version 1.02 for Zero Hour.

C&C GENERALS: WORKS FINE
ZERO HOUR: ADD REGISTRY KEY, like peter7schmit say:

Ok i read all these comments but there was still something missing so ill type it out for us noobs
1. Install daemon tools or magic iso
2. Mount image ( the larger file)
3. Run through the install of Generals
4. " once installed go to C:ProgramEA GAMESCommand and Conquer Generals1Alternativ nycklar
double click... Yes... OK.. DONE :)"
5. Re-mount the iso file (CCGZeHo)
6. An Installer will pop up (this is for the expansion)Install
7. Go to C:/Program/Command & Conquer generals/ Zero hour/ and open "Gernerals2"

there is a file that is corrupt in there, it told me when i was trying to install it... but this is just on CD#2, # 1 works fine. I sugguest you find a alternate torrent and download CD2 from there...

O hai, if you try to run it but it just starts up then goes back to your regular screen
Dont change the file name
I was prompted to change it to "Program1" and Zero hour doesnt run right, so just rename it to "program" if you get a prompt

How do you play peer to peer? I know that since it is cracked, you cannot log on to the EA servers but can I connet with a friend, without getting into EA servers, and play? (He is in another country, not the same room). Anybody knows? **** looo... help!! :(

How come I can't "edit" the Alternativ nycklar(s)? I open and it said it is not a valid Win32 program or something like that? please help me. I would appreciate it that much! Thanks in advance.

Haha! Finally got it working, thanks for the help guys! The key thing about his "tricky" process is following instructions. *sigh* Should have thought of that earlier. Well I am to try it now, I hope I don't experience some of the comments here like crashing. Only one thing I wish though, I hope I could have chosen another folder to save it. I just wish I could do the next time, after I reformat my PC. LOL! Good luck to the others too ^^

Burnt to dvd like was told, it ran automatically, but it wouldn't install, just said error with the exe, someone said corrupt file before, thats true.

Well I got it to work after running the exe file, don't do the autorun thing, the path in the register was wrong causing corrupt file or wateva it was

we can't play through lan, it says the serial/product key is already in use, is there something that needs to be configured? will using the other registry keys work?

some ppl have problems geting past the splash screen (you get an error mess)

i have no problem in generals , the problem in "zero hour" after the splash screen is on its disapears without eny error or warning !! who have idea ?

make sure the generals and zero hour are in C:/Program/EA GAMES.

You most likely changed the directory name where you installed the game. Just use the recommended settings and install the game in C:Program . Windows Vista (maybe XP also?) will say that it can cause problems to create that map, but there is no other option so ignore it.

I've installed it with the default settings and it still won't run, even after I double click and add the registry entry from 1Alternativ nycklar. Patching also didn't work.

fake my ass....the torrent is REAL. If you have the dual core problems, run the game, bring up task manager (i think that's what it's called, the ctrl+alt+del on xp), go to processes, find C&C Generals and Zero Hour, right click the process, click the bottom one (my windows is in another language that happens to be my second language, no clue what it is in english) and make sure only 1 cpu is checked. Crack is inside the iso but if you have problems, just get the one from www.gameburnworld.com

guys.......all is perfect...i even pla **** one full game...later when i started generals zero hour again than when i pla **** a match, it just crashed after about 15-20 seconds and i got "defeated".........for God sake i am feeling sad........ i cant play generals zero hour any more...for God sake someone help me...........plsssssssssssss

i installed it and i used demon tools to mount it's image but still when i open the game and i chose to play offline single player it doesn't work it just close by itself.
my pc is good and i'm using vista on it does that effect?
