In response to DTclown's comment, if you prefer having the file as a single video as opposed to 2 700 MB halfves, get a program called "Fast AVI MPEG Joiner", this program merges the 2 video's into one flawlessly (as long as the videos cut seemlessly with no overlap) on average, the process takes no more than 2 minutes to complete.
its basically a dvdrip however it is evident that its the same as those other ones with the russian hardcoded subtitles since the screen appears to have had the bottom portion cropped out to remove them although some russian subtitles remain when shown at the top of the screen, apparently when english location information appears at the bottom (avoids the two overlapping each other). in my opinion, its a decent rip quality wise in regards to audio and video, watchible but if the aspect ratio alteration and remaining subtitles bug you, I would suggest waiting a better one on the horizon
I'm very pleased with the quality of both the audio and video, looks very much the same as I had seen it in the cinema, not a cam or other low quality varient, no graininess as far as I can tell, definately the best one to date, very much worth a download and it only took an hour and a half to get :D
After downloading both "green lantern first flight 2009 STV WS DVDRIP XviD DEMENTA TV M" & "green lantern first flight XVID Fanoftransformers", I can honestly say this copy has the sharpest quality so far, much, much better than the other two
skip this, its a ripoff of "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" by The Asylum, an extremely low budget production company that produces direct to video mockblusters to capitalize on productions by major studios with examples such as "The Da Vinci Treasure" (The Da Vinci Code), "Snakes on a Train" (Snakes on a Plane) and "Transmorphers" (Transformers) to name a few, so in short, please don't waste your time with this or anything else that The Asylum produces.

According to sabby2013 on mininova 'subtitles are avalible here - http://subscene.com/Punisher-War-Zone/subtitles-74829.aspx - choose the sync one with the name of fxm keep it in same folder and play with vlc media player or with window media plyer wit vodpod codec subs would appear' - I hope this helps
Is it just me or are the subtitles completely messed up, I mean, there are moments when it fits in terms of the dialogue being spoken but for the most part, its complete jibberish
I downloaded it, sadly I too have experienced the same troublesome issue with VLC, it will work in media player classic but VLC is my prefered player, any ideas or suggestions on what to do, need an updated codec or version of VLC perhaps,. I would like to know, as for the movie, very decent audio and video quality, current recommendation over any other torrent
Sample looks great, the audio sound crisp in my opinion, sounds like a sure bet if you ask me, my only question is does this have subtitles during the parts where there are people speaking in another language?
