The game will crash at the end of the 6th mission of Soviet campaign or third mission of either Allied or Empire campaign.
EA said that "it removed certain files from pirated version".
My suggestion (unproven): disconnect your internet after you install the game. Otherwise, your pc will be connected to EA server and I guess this is the way EA removes those files.

Read this before even thinking about downloading it. This game can only be pla **** using latest Nvidia card that supports shader 3. That excludes most of ATI cards (only x1300 and above support the game ). If your card is x700, x800, or x850 like mine then just forget it. I tried it and it was just not playable. No cursor, corrupted graphics, etc. The patch released by ATI only addresses the problem in high end cards such as HD series and X1300 to X1900 series.
