No viruses, extracts fine, installs fine, runs fine. No problem with the torrent for me (vista 32).
As numerous PC reviews have said, the PC version contains numerous technical and graphical bugs as well as crappy frame rate (for me, around 30FPS despite low graphics setting and low resolution on a dual core cpu, 4gb ram and 2x 256 mb vid cards) due to the game being a crappy console port. However, its free so thats the trade off.
Downloaded, extracted, mounted with daemon tools, installed and plays fine. Im guessing online mode requires a unique key like other games (cod4, cod5 etc) which you can get from the various sites that sell game keys online.
About 10 or so hours in solo mode and not 1 problem so far. Thanks!
@ league_luva: Open any of the rar files and extract the file inside to wherever you want (say desktop). Winrar (or similar) will automatically extract the files from all the rar files (60+ of them). Then mount the image using Daemon Tools Lite or similar. Go to my computer, explore the mounted drive (F: or whatever it is on your PC) and choose the setup.exe and install the game as you would any other. Once done, copy the crack and .dll file from the crack folder into the game folder and play using the borderlands.exe file.
@ Mapekz: Well said. I got in early to avoid the rush and was lucky the download only took 2 non-stop days or so.
Extract the image, mount using daemon tools or similar, install and play (no crack required if i remember right).
Great game.
Great music which is similar to Diablo 2 (one of the composers for torchlight was also partly responsible for Diablo 2).
Good graphics (dont expect cutting edge but the 3D models do look good).
Great variety of weapons (better than titan quest IMO).
Good variety of monsters.
No multiplayer tho which some people may miss
Long load times between levels even though i have high end PC
For 500mb, its a great game that i have spent more than 10hrs playing over the past few days and im not a big RPG fan (have only ever pla **** diablo 1+2, titan quest+expansion, dungeon siege 1+2).
$20USD on steam if you wish to support - i think multiplayer DLC is a possibility in the future.
@ ToXS- Unless this is your first torrent you should know to always read the .NFO file which comes with the torrent in this case its called "vitality.nfo" which contains instructions and the serial key i was talking about. Open it with notepad or similar if it doesnt open automatically.
However, as other people have said, the game now doesnt accept the cd key in the .nfo file if you are connected to the internet so either pull out your internet cable, disable your internet connection or possibly use your firewall to block tropico 3 checking the serial online when it starts up. I did this and the original serial still works.

Please ignore my post 3 above, the game now works perfectly and i dont really know why. If anything, i replaced all the cracked files with their originals and the game suddenly worked without having to do anything else.
Great game if you like Tribes, Battlefield or similar team based multiplayer with customisable character weaponry and passives (think perks similar to COD4).
For online play, you can buy cd keys from a variety of websites for only $USD20-24 which is what i have done. Too bad not many Australians play the game online :(
Another great release. Works, clean files (no viruses), serial provided. I missed the serial initially so as MentalMatt86 said, look in the text file or else you cant play the game without entering a cd key.

I cant get this to work no matter what and i am not a noob to cracking games.
Ive tried 4 different cracks that i found from a variety of websites.
I have the latest GFWL.
I have disabled my anti-virus.
I have tried running the program as admin under windows vista.
I have tried running under windows xp service pack 2 compatibility mode.
I have tried using the image to run the game and trick it into thinking i have the game DVD in the drive.
Nothing will make it work, all that happens is i get the vista error saying "section 8 has stopped working".

Rather than downloading the 1.5gb Reloaded Blood Bowl, can somebody upload the all the files from the crack folder that the Reloaded version has? I tried the file from mjestatc but it doesnt do anything (whenever i run it it does the windows vista "program has stopped working" error no matter if i change compatibility modes, run as admin or use shortcut options).

Installed fine but as everybody has said, it needs a serial, activation code or crack first which NONE can be found. A cd key can be bought online (from very few stores) but they are very expensive. ive been waiting for several weeks now and havent been able to find any way to make the game work yet.

Perfect. Extract then play. No problems. I might have even patched it without any problems but i cant remember (may have had to create some registry settings to do so - try google if required).
Great. Works perfectly for me. No problems at all. Paid for an authentic CD Key because i think the game is worth it. Also runs all DLC packs which i have got via torrent so far. Highly recommending buying a cd key for like $20USD to allow patching of the game.
