yes i did in da same manner and it didnt installed any of the inbuilt softwares

dis XP doesn't contain da Paint, general games that are in other XP's
Some said that the K-lite codec player is inbuilt and no need of installing the K-lite codec player
But it doesn't contain any players
and no inbuilt wallpapers, themes.
No aaditional features are present in dis XP

I think u have tuned on the automatic updates in ur PC.
Goto Control Panel and select the Automatic Updates from the list (or) select Windows Firewall
after opening the firewall, u vl see da automatic updates in da down.
click on it and turn off the automatic updates

But its not possible now.
install windows again and do da above procedure dude.
