Hey to get past the loss of save game progress, be aware it is an xlive problem it is related to starting the game with your internet connection active if you did not register your xlive account through the game you will lose your progress. To never lose your progress start the game with your internet connection deactivated.

Manual backups of save game data can be done by locating the following folder through your user do **** ents and settings folder:
In this folder you will find a file called 4D530842.gpd this your save game data so back up to another folder you choose (It is a protected file folder so be sure to enable to view these file types in folder options). do this after every time u play - next time at startup game says no save data located, simply copy the backup to the original folder and all is well!!! enjoy!!! thx ToeD ur DA MAN!
1. Install game. locate a key code this 1 worked 4 me

2a. Locate the "crack" folder on the disc image copy the EAWUpate1_2.exe file to the install folder in your program files directory as below-
c:Program filesLucas Artsstar wars empire at warGameData
2b. Run the update "by double clicking on the icon" for some of you.
3. Copy the files sweaw.exe and PerceptionFunctionG.dll from the crack folder on the disc image to the same folder as above.
4. Create shortcut to the recently copied sweaw.exe file on your desktop and ANY OTHER LOCATION YOU START THE GAME FROM.
5. Start game and enjoy. everything you need is in the torrent files 4get the rest
